SHY SISTERS // ALABASTA DOLL

Shy Sister & Alabaster Doll in one shoot? I know, I know! It’s been a long time coming to the blog, as you may have seen a few images released across social media. Life has been busy & brilliant, so here it (finally) is!

A couple of months before her August wedding, Courtney discovered Shy Sisters. In an excited, panicked message she sent me all her options for a custom made set of handmade resin earrings. My jaw dropped, and I have been obsessed ever since. Tamryn Charteris of Shy Sisters is one incredibly talented woman. Not only a jewellery designer, but now a graduate fashion designer based on the Sunshine Coast, Tamryn very kindly returned my excitement for a collaborative shoot! Working with Anna of Alabasta Doll & Courtney Hill (you may remember her pre wedding as Courtney Baker), we whipped up some tonal magic.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Anna again, and to have her not only model but style pieces from Ivy Designer Collections for the shoot! I’ll add a little link to each piece so you can find it.

It was a dream to work with Anna & Courtney on this project! Court created this stunning soft warm look in answer to Anna styling. You can always read a bit more about the products used in her Instagram posts.

Not all of the beautiful jewellery above is up on the Shy Sisters website as yet, so if you find something you love don’t forget you can get in touch via email or Instagram about your favourite piece.

For the record, this is not a sponsored post, but a collaboration between creatives who genuinely admire each others work!

For more from each of the magical women involved, you can find Anna, Courtney and Tamryn through by clicking on their names.
